Training and Development Cohorts
There are two cohorts available for potential participants:
No-cost newcomer training is tailored for individuals new to the energy efficiency sector and offers an immersive experience that guides participants toward employment opportunities such as energy efficiency service providers, utility workers, and others. Receive training on topics that include energy principles, air leakage, HVAC, insulation and more.

The eight-week training is a full-time structure.

Certifications
Participant Criteria
- 18 years old or older
- Reside in the ComEd service area
- High school diploma/GED
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test

- Currently employed in energy efficiency, HVAC, or weatherization field

- High school diploma/GED
