DVP helps diverse business owners effectively navigate the procurement process. Your participation enhances your business and contributes to the collective prosperity of our community. We firmly believe that empowered businesses create far-reaching value that benefits us all.

Diversity Certification Support

Get coached on the diversity certifications to pursue and receive support through the entire application process. Potential certifications include:

  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
  • Women Business Enterprise (WBE)
  • LGBTQ Business Enterprise (NGLCC)
  • Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE)
  • Business Enterprises Owned by People with Disabilities (BEPD)

To be eligible for participation in the DVP channel, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  • Ownership: at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by an individual (or individuals) who identify as one or more of the following:
    • Ethnic minority
    • Woman
    • Veteran
    • Person with a disability
    • LGBTQ
  • Registration: registered and in good standing with the state of Illinois.
  • Insurance: insured and bonded, as applicable, in accordance with minimum state requirements.
