Diversity Certification Support

Get coached on the diversity certifications to pursue and receive support through the entire application process. Potential certifications include:

  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
  • Women Business Enterprise (WBE)
  • LGBTQ Business Enterprise (NGLCC)
  • Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE)
  • Business Enterprises Owned by People with Disabilities (BEPD)

To be eligible for participation in the DVP channel, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  • Ownership: at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by an individual (or individuals) who identify as one or more of the following:
    • Ethnic minority
    • Woman
    • Veteran
    • Person with a disability
    • LGBTQ
  • Registration: registered and in good standing with the state of Illinois.
  • Insurance: insured and bonded, as applicable, in accordance with minimum state requirements.
